DUKE LANGUAGE PARTNERS:

Russian Language Partners

THE DUKE LANGUAGE PARTNERS PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE '09-'10 ACADEMIC YEAR.

Matches non-native speakers with native speakers of various languages for weekly conversation exchange. Through the program, one can practice a foreign language, learn about another culture, and/or gain English as a Second Language (or other language) tutoring experience.

Commitment: Assignment to one or more partners is for the academic year. However, many participants maintain contact long after the formal period has ended.

Matching: Applicants are matched based on language. Once partners are sent each other's contact information, they are expected to contact each other and arrange a convenient time and place to meet.
*Ending: When partners leave or graduate, contact International House to end your participation or sign up for a new partner.

Sign Up: People interested in participating in this program must fill out the online application form. Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will be matched but we will match as many people as possible!
