Hi! I'm John and (although it scares me to say so), I'm in my senior year at Duke.  I have lived in the States all my life, although I now typically spend my summers abroad since my absolute number one interest is traveling. I've been lucky enough to see many parts of Latin America, the Caribbean, Eastern and Western Europe, and South Asia, and always love connecting with people who come from those regions and from anywhere elase in the world. At Duke, you'll nearly always find me on my way to get coffee somewhere or sleeping, as my life seems to oscillate between the two! In all seriousness, though, I do study psychology and the South Asian region, so I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have about those academic areas as well as anything else you might want to know about Duke. As an incoming freshman, there will be times when you'll be overwhelmemed, but we and the I-House are one of many groups here to support you. And, if you're breezing right on through with no problems in sight, then we also love to just hang out - Go Duke!
